It's a Bird ... It's a Game ... It's Homecoming!

It's a Bird ... It's a Game ... It's Homecoming! The theme for this year's homecoming has been revealed. The first reveal was in the BSU Daily News last Tuesday. We committee members pondered over many ideas, starting from our first meeting, and this one just seemed to to be the one that we kept coming back to. Superheros and comics are easy to relate with for people of all ages. Like always, we will have plenty of fun events planned during the week that involve the theme and really bring it all together. Also not to mention a sweet logo to represent the week.

I never really thought about how hard it would be to select a theme. It's not easy. There is no way to possibly please everyone with what we choose. You just have to think about what the majority of people will say. And let's face it, who hasn't wanted to be a superhero at one point or another in their life.

Here's what Talent Search Chairman Heather Closson had to say about the theme: "I like it. I think it gives a lot of people the opportunity to get involved. I think that we have a lot of awesome things going down, and that people will really like the changes that we're making. They definitely shouldn't be worried about not being able to show off their school spirit!"

On a side note from revealing the theme, remember to get your king and queen nominations in by April 8

Start getting excited about Homecoming '11!!
