When I sat down at my very first Homecoming Steering Committee meeting in March, I felt like the Faculty/Staff breakfast was so far away. Before I knew it, it was here. After planning this event for eight months it was bittersweet when I was cleaning up after it was all said and done. We had an awesome turn out this year with over 250 guests attending. The faculty and staff of Ball State seemed to enjoy the opportunity to mingle with people outside of their own departments. University Catering provided us with delicious food and we were very thankful for their help.
Later in the evening, I was given the privilege of crowing this year’s Faculty/Staff King and Queen at Talent Search. Drew Vidal is this year’s King and Kathy Denker was crowned Queen. Congratulations to both of them!
Tomorrow I look forward to being a “superhero” at Ball State Saves the day! Donate blood at Pruis from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. or volunteer in the Muncie community.
