Yes, college
is full of classes, homework, exams and stress. But more importantly, college
is a place to enjoy your last days of unemployed freedom, meet new people and
make memories! As part of the Ball State Homecoming Steering Committee, I can
confidently say that we make it super easy for you to forget about your tests
and enjoy the fun. We give you HOMECOMING: a whole week planned by us just for
you. And our number one goal? To make sure you have an amazing time!
We’ve kept in mind that a good time
might not mean the same thing to all 20,000 students + alumni + faculty at Ball
State. That’s why we’ve packed Ball State Homecoming 2011 with diverse
activities guaranteed to give everyone their own good time.
Football,
free food, free prizes, competitions? Check.
Lip syncing
contests, talent showcased, a dance party with a live DJ and full crowd screen?
Check.
Free movie,
a chance to help the community, racing beds down Riverside? Check, check and
check.
So what the heck are you waiting
for? Get yourself to the Homecoming Fall
Information Meeting next Wednesday, September 7 at 9:30 p.m. at the Alumni
Center (don’t worry, the red loop BSU shuttles run there). We’ll tell you about
all of the fun you’ll miss out on if you don’t participate in homecoming this year.
Heck, we’ll even give you free pizza, soda and some Ashley Points.
Don’t skip out on the memories
you’ll make at Homecoming 2011. This is college—you’re allowed to have some
fun!
